MCCAULEY FROM BELFAST
Posted by: Katherine Aberdeen (ID *****3759) Date: May 04, 2009 at 21:20:03
  of 1704

My gg grandfather ROBERT MCCAULEY was born in Belfast in about 1840. His father, William, and brother, John lived at 121 Crimea Street, Belfast, for many years. He was killed in a factory accident at the Burnbrae Dye Works near Glasgow in 1876 leaving his wife, Ann Calder Cook McCauley and family who migrated to Australia. He also served on the "Miranda" in Savannah in about 1871. Any information on the FAMILY, the FACTORY or the SHIP would be appreciated.
