Stumped! McCauslands in Ireland
Posted by: Jeffrey McCausland (ID *****0685) Date: August 19, 2002 at 03:23:14

Hello Cousins,
Try as I might, I can't connect the dots. My Grandfather was Charles Cecil McCausland, born November 3, 1896 in Ireland. (Roscommon they tell me but I'm not sure my elderly Aunt recalls all that well)

My grandfather was the son of one John McCausland and Eliza Jane Lyon, also in Ireland. My grandfather had many McCausland siblings. Ernest, William, Jack (John), Alfred, George and Lilah (Lilly), and Helena.

My father, Charles Cecil McCausland Jr., and my Aunt, Muriel McCausland were born in Scarva, Ireland. Dad was born December 13, 1926. (Another son, James, died at birth)

They were the children of Charles McCausland and Caroline Martin. My Grandmothers parents were Sarah Jane Bell and James McGillian Martin.

Does any of this look familiar to any of you? I keep finding the right names but not the right connections.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Jeff McCausland
