William McCausland near Belfast, 1769
Posted by: William McGee (ID *****8096) Date: February 28, 2011 at 07:18:20

In the 28 March 1769 issue of the Belfast News-Letter a parcel of land then leased by William McCausland is listed as among those to be re-let by the owner of the land, Clotworthy Upton. The parcel was 22 acres in Rickamore Townland, Templepatrick Parish. Does anyone know anything about William McCausland and in particular whom he may have married and if and when he came to North America? Bill
