Hi. Was this Andrew McClary one of the signers of a Cherokee Treaty in 1806 that ceded land in Middle Tn along the Duck River that later formed Bedford County? If so, he might be related to my gg grandfather John McClarey who was a co-signer with Andrew. Most of the Marshal County McClarey's (that pt fomed from Bedford) spelled their name either McClary or McCleary. My line alone kept the McClarey spelling. This line came PA.
