Here is some info I have on a branch of my distant family: My great-great aunt Anna Ackerman (born1878) married a man with the last name of McClary, in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa around 1900 or so. His first name might have started with an F. Their kids were Ella and Earl. Ella McClary married someone (maybe named John?) and their oldest son was Donald, born in 1918. I don't have any info on what happened to Earl McClary. In 1932 Anna McClary is living at: 414 N. White St. in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, and perhaps has lived before that in Chicago for awhile.
Sound familiar to anyone?
