Hi ~ I'm researching information about the McClary's or McCleary's of Campbell County, TN. More precisely, I'm looking for more information on Preston (sometimes Juston) McClary who married Eliza Brassfield. He was born somewhere around 1818-1820 or so. I have the lineage from Preston on down, but I'm stalled on Preston and anything before. According to my research, Preston and Eliza were married on January 29, 1840 and had the following children: Elzina McClary, John McClary, William Preston McClary, Alford (Alfred) McClary, and James T. McClary. The names of Preston, John, Elzina, are prevelant in the family. Preston and Eliza must have moved sometime in the 1840s to Missouri. Preston (thru John) is my 5xGreat Grandfather.
