The Late Mrs. Roberts
The Methodist Church has lost a loyal member and faithful worker in the death of Sarah Roberts, widow of the late John D. Roberts fo Cobourg Ontario, who passed away recently after a few weeks' illness. Mrs. Roberts was born in Hope Township, Durham County, in 1840, her father James McClary and his wife Margaret Beck having settled there in 1832. Mrs. Roberts lived for sixty years in Cobourg and all that time was closely identified with the Methodist Church and its work. She leaves five children, George H of Toronto; Edward W of British COlumbia, Evam wife of T.D. Brown, K.C. of Regina, and Mary and Joseph Henry at home. There are also numerous grandchildren. Mrs. Roberts had the love and esteem of a very large circle of friends.
