Notes on the Southern McClatchey Family,

My manuscript, Notes on the Southern McClatchey Family: The Descendants of John McClatchey in America is now available for the cost of copying and postage. $15.00 + 4.00 P&H, total: $19.00. It is 150 pages long, but contains fifty percent more information than the first edition, a smaller type face has been used to to make it fit a standard mailing envelope. It contains information on more than fourteen descendants of John McClatchey and there spouses and in-laws.

Heads of households in the 1700s include:

John McClatchey
(William) Hamilton McClatchey Sr
John McClatchey II
(William) Hamilton McClatchy Jr
David Alexander m. Mary McClatcy' McClatchey (McLatchery)

Includes information on Native American and African American ancestry; offers proof for Allen McClatchey as a son of (William) Hamilton McClatchy Jr; connects Sherrif Wiley 'Meggs' McClatchey of Walker County, GA; along with additional descendants and historical information. It is a significant update to the first edition, and I do not plan on revising it any time soon.

To order, send a check or money order for $19.00 to: Beau Bowen, P O Box 1118, Elkton, MD, 21922-1118.
