My information shows a Mary Bruffey married to a Henry McCleave. Henry's father was Benjamin McCleave, Sr. Henry and Mary had at least three children according to my records, Flora, born abt 1864, James, born abt 1866, and Allen born abt 1868. My records also show Henry was born Dec 28, 1830. I found them in the 1870 Lawrence County Census. I also found their marriage record in Lawrence County, IL Courthouse. Henry C. McCleave's mother was Sarah Goode. I hope this helps you out. If you need more information, my email is

I would love to have information you have on Henry and Mary (Bruffey or Buffey)and their descendants
