Hi Fergus
Thank you very much for the information and the photo. I have a few things I can email to you but can you please send me your email as I don't know how to scan them in to this site.
Here is another interesting piece of information. We live in Canada (I am a FERRIS orginally from Belfast). Guelph is in Ontario about an hour from us. I know there is a McCleave that lives in Brampton but I have never been in contact with them perhaps they are some relative or the original clan.
I have some information from Drumbo parish regarding births/deaths/marriages in Ballylesson parish so I will scan them to you.
I am still trying to find my ggrandmothers first name. I am assuming that it may be Isobella as there seems to be Isobella's down the line on the FERRIS side. My ggreatgrandfather Daniel Ferris was born around 1860 and died in 1937 she would I assume have been around the same era.
Seymour McCleave still lives on Ballylesson Rd. I have written to him but received no answer. I hope at some point I can make the connection to ?McCleave and Daniel Ferris. I appreciate any help you can give me.
