Thanks Fergus
I really appreciate the help. It is difficult to enquire about all things when you are so far away. From my understanding my greatgrandmother is buried in Ballylesson (I am still waiting for a cousin to get back to me with the exact site of the grave, and I have been waiting a long time!) my ggreatgrandfather Daniel Ferris is also buried there along with his Alexander Murphy (this is where it gets complicated). Alexander Murphy was the brother of my ggrandfather on the other side of the family. I have no idea why he was buried there but he never married and of course in days gone by they were buried wherever they had space. He died on April 29th 1941 at age 84. I have his death certificate and death insertion from the newspaper stating he was buried in Ballylesson but as the letter states from Drumbo they have no record of it. From what I gather from an uncle I think because they were Catholic it was not marked. I do know that my uncle had the grave fixed up a many years ago but I have not been able to find it. My sister tells me that she remembers as a young girl going with my father to visit Edith McCleave in Ballylesson. She is around 60 or so now and I believe she still lives in Ballylesson but I did write to Seymour and thought he could help me with her but alas no answer again. I would appreciate your help.
Thank you so much.
