Doubt there is a connection. Samuel (born approx 1870 in Glasgow) and his brother Patrick - slightly older- migrated to the US approx 1890. Patrick settled in Burlington Co NJ, and Samuel in Philadelphia, and eventually moved to Lancaster (near Buffalo) NY, via Danville and Lewistown PA. They had an older sister, Mary, who married Andrew Monk and lived in Philadelphia. Cannot find any information that gives me names of their parents. Thanks anyway.
