Hi Shelley...My Mother was Kathleen McCann b. 5/22/1928. Her Father was John McCann b. 1/10/1898. My grandpa "Jack" ("John") was from Limavady, Derry. His sister Mary married a James McCloskey.(altho I have always mis-spelled it McClosky) They had a son James (circa 1930?) who married a Mary Mullen. Their children still live in Derry. The McCloskey family is still living in the Limavady area. They are Roman Catholics. The McCann family primarily left for NY around the 1930's...the brothers ( my Grandpa included), but Mary McCloskey's side stayed.
