David McCloskey - Georgia

From the Knoxville Gazette of Saturday, March 9, 1793:

"We learn that the reward offered by the President of the United States for apprehending the leader of the party who destroyed the Cherokee town of Teuchtotce, has induced some person to apprehend David M'Closkey, of Tugelo, in Georgia. On his being apprehended, and until his arrival at Augusta, he considered it a trivial affair; but upon his arrival there the officers of government had him confined in sstrong and heavy irons, and from thence sent to Savannah, to be tried before the federal court."

Not my line, but found this in research in the old newspapers.
