Hello MacKenzie and Shawn,
I'm related to your McDevitt/McDavitt family. Edward William McDavitt your Greatgrandfather?, was a first cousin of my Grandfather, Francis Edward McDevitt of Caledon Township, Peel County Ontario. Their common ancestor is Edward McDaid/McDevitt 1797-1855 from County Donegal, Ireland. Edward, his wife Grace Strain and family emigrated in 1841 to Canada. Shawn mentioned that her aunts had collected a fair bit of Geneological information. Is there any chance of accessing that?
