Thomas McCloskey 1848 Pennsylvania

My mother was a McCloskey. Her great grandfather was Isaac Cosby McCloskey (b 1826 d 1901), son of Thomas McCloskey. Thomas McCloskey and wife Sophia emigrated to Iowa in 1854 with seven children. Oldest son Isaac stayed in PA to marry and thrive as a businessman. There are many McCloskeys interred in the church yard of the United Methodist Church, Dunnstown, Woodward Township, PA. These McCloskeys are Protestant Scotch Irish descent. Dunnstown is located across the West Branch of the Susquehanna River opposite Lock Haven, PA. A person an apparent descendant of one of Thomas McCloskey's children that emigrated contacted me. We are trying to connect with Thomas McCloskey's parents and kin in Clinton County and elswhere. Thomas McCloskey and family are contained in the 1840 National Census records for Clinton County, PA.
