It is my understanding that Cornelius Heeney was John Jacob Astor's business partner and both of them were connected to Explorer Robert Stuart of Ft Astoria.

What I am trying to understand is the connection of Robert Stuart of Ft Astoria and to Alexander Hamilton and his aid Meriwether Lewis.

I have records that Cornelius Heeney was a close friend of Alexander Hamilton.
