I am searching for information on "Ellie McCloskey" from PA who married Daniel Newton Sickles in Holidaysburg, PA in 1872. She went by Ellie---but her name was Sarah Ellen McCloskey. I am trying to find a link to Indian ancestory.
I think Ellie might have been Indian.
George McCloskey posted a message in 2002 saying he didn't understand why his last name was McCloskey--and he is Indian and lived on Rosebud Reservation in South Dakota.
If anyone can help me link Ellie to Indian ancestry, please let me know. Thank very much.
