I do know that in the late 1800's, the daughter of Mary Polley [McColgin] White, Temperance who had married Caleb Gersbach in Hamilton Co was living in Ark and wrote to my Grandfather or Great Grandfather [I have the letter someplace] and stating that "Tempy" wants to see her Mother real bad. Please send $ for the train fare. Polley died around that time. I do not know if the money was sent or not.
I would think that in order to idnetify Thomas' wife as Mary Hamilton, there should be some record extant to support that theory. [One researcher got the information relating to Vann & Comstock? from her grandmother.]
I would hope that we can figure this all out, if all work together.
