Minnesota McColl

The McColl clan here in Minnesota dates to the early 1800's when they immigrated from Canada (near Toronto, I believe). There is a wonderful family cemetery near the original homestead with the genealogy of all etched in stone.
My dad and two siblings still survive. Their names are:
Quentin (now lives in NV),
and Ruth (McColl) Anderson.
Deceased siblings are:
and Gilbert.
Their parents were Robert A. and Gertrude (Paukner) McColl.
Robert A., my grandfather, contracted polio in his 20's and was in a wheelchair the rest of his life. He was quite inventive, however, and taught me how to fix many things. His workshop in the back of their little house was magical. The work table was low to accomodate his wheelchair, but it was just the right height for a little boy to make many things out of wood, wire and an endless supply of love. He never ran out of coping saw blades and never seemed upset when I constantly asked to replace the one I broke.
We are in little danger of depleting the McColl name in these parts. Five of my six children are boys.
My dad recently visited with Robert and Rita McColl from Alberta, Canada as the latter passed through the area to visit other relatives in Iowa.
I'd love to hear from any connections.
