Dear Carol:

My McColls (also found as MacColl) came from Scotland and settled in Cape Breton.

My 2nd great-grandmother was Ann McColl, who married Peter McKichan about 1850.

Ann had siblings Peter, Duncan, John, Flora, Isabella (Bella), Katherine (Katie), Christine (Christie), Margaret, and another sister who's name is unknown to me at this time.

I have copies of deed transactions between a Dugald McColl, and Ann's husband, Peter MacKichan from 1833.

I believe this same Dugald McColl was a Presbyterian minister.

If you think there may be a connection, please feel free to contact me.
