Thanks Baden,
This seems to be close as my Great Grandparents came to South Gippsland Victoria Australia after briefly staying in Hobart Town Tasmania. I think that there South Gippsland .location was Port Albert or Port Welshpool and that My G Grandfather was a constable there ( Archibald McColl ) I think around the 1860`s.They then went on to farm at Longford near Sale in Gippsland
Mr GG Grandparents were Mary McColl ( nee Stewart) died 13 Feb.1860 and Duncan who died 7th April 1849.
