Hi Bruce,
Don't know about about that advice, not from me, I
have been away for nearly a week so have been off the air.
I have started checking the earlier "Friends of Appin newsletters" The following may be of some interest-
"Albert Stewart McColl, a Mounted Constable, was fatally speared by aborigines of the Caledon Day tribe in 1932.
It is believed he was the 5th son of Archibald Steward McColl of Sale."
He may have been a decendant of your Archibald.
Did your Archibald have brothers Duncan & William who also settled on the land around Sale?
Cheers for now, Baden
