Father: Edwin A. McColl (b. 1854, married Margaret Fraser. g.father Hugh McColl. g.mother Pheobe Mcdonald.

Hugh McColl b. 1820 died 1857 m. Pheobe 1847.
Hugh's father: Samuel McColl, Jr. b. 1780's Scotland to Canada in 1825.

in 1819 Thomas Mccoll arrive from Scotland and taught in a school he built on his property on "THE TRAIL"
at Brock's Creek - He was called Squire McColl.

This from a newspaper WEST LORNE SUN on 22 June 1967.

In the article mention was made of Alex C. McColl in 1919.
