We are arranging a get together of the McColls of Appin who went to Australia in 1852 and settled firstly in the Mansfield area. It will take place on the 23 and 24th April in Mansfield. Including going to the original homestead site which still stands, the Cemetery, where the original settlers are, and such things as being piped in to our first luncheon with "wee Jennie McColl" and other Scottish favourites. Our tartan will be there, the "new" one that is, in the form of a hand made vest, and people are coming from various states of Australia to finally meet, exchange information and photo's and ensure the legacy of family lives on. If you would like to join the families, please do, just let me know, so I can add your name to our list. Jo.
