Hello,
My McColl's are of the House of Auchhnau-darroch in gaelic or "Oakfield" in Appin. According to My GGG Grandfather "Elder" Thomas McColl, My family used to own an Estate in Appin that incorpated the Mountain of Bendheir or of the flying Serpent. I was wondering if anyone had heard of it. It was in our family until the early 1700's. My family emigrated to Canada in 1817. I have information on my house of McColl from 1725 to present if anyone is looking for my family.
