Hello Jean, Euphemia is a family name in my family in the old days. I had some family that setlled in kintyre area but I am not sure exactly when. After I saw your message I was looking around on the net and I ran across a cemetary in Kiel with a lot of the names listed . There were several stones either fallen over or obliterated and there was no McColl listed. The Dugald McColl you mention , would he have come from the Appin area. If so he would be in about the right time frame to have been the person in my family to move to that area sometime after the 45 .
Yours Chris MacColl
