My Grandfather was the Paul (Stewart) McColl Mentioned who emigrated from Australia to New Zealand in the late 1800's. He was the ist son and named Paul after the Brother Of Archibald Stewart McColl, who had emigrated from Scotland to Australia after the Crimean War but died or was killed in Australia. Bruce's grandfather Archibald McColl was the second son and naming reverted to the fathers name according to tradition. My Father was Archibald Paul Stewart McColl born 30 April 1900 Died October 1977.
