My great grandfather McColl was from Kilmelford and married a Lismore girl before heading to Glasgow and then Aldborough.
I stay in Dingwall so the Great Garden (or Fort) is feasibly within reach and I know the road! I doubt that I'll be able to attend but I am pleased with the invitation: thank you.
I use RootsMagic as what appeared to be the best application and is the first that I have considered worthwhile changing to from Generations, although RM's charting hasn't yet caught up with Generations ten-year-old charting but it is being worked on.
Twenty years ago I tried to track down the papers and discovered a very hot can of worms. I'd love to know where we stand today.
