I have been working on my family. We are the C28 branch I believe. Orginaly from Achindarrach, Appin,(as my GGGGfather wrote the House of Auchhnau-darroch) they moved to Kilmelford before emmigrating to Ontario in 1817 when my GGGGFather Thomas(known as ELDER Thomas), and his brother Samuel came over. Followed by my GGGGGfather Duncan his family the next year. The settled in what is now Eagle, Ontario and are known as the Brocks Creek McColl's.

I have good information from around 1725 with my GGGGG Duncan and his first wife Mary McColl from the house of McColl's in Glen nachdrach. I will share the information I have on my family and would like any that anyone else has that can continue filling in the holes.

Hope this is helpfull.

Donald McColl
