On Ancestry.com there is information about Susan McKenny - seems to fit this lady, but there were MANY Susans so it might not be.
You might try searching the name McKenny and see if anything helps.
There are records of that person coming over from Ireland - even has a picture of the ship, etc,....and that person seems to have gone back and forth
from US to Ireland several times. One time @ 1906 it shows a Patrick
with her as relative - but you have to click on the "document" to see
the notations - it even shows where she was from and the name of her mother and father (supposedly) - the handwriting is very hard to read and the lines are often confused with the person above or below - these are SHIPS MANIFEST
lists. Tyrone, Ireland is mentioned a couple of times.
The spelling of names is not standard, which does not help!
When I was a child I was told to spell my name Mc Call - but actually it is:
McColl in all records for my father and his father! I have also been told
to spell it MacColl, but that is also incorrect. So you can see the problem!
I am descendants of the McColl's of a tiny town near Glasgow, Scotland, but
when they came as farmers to VT with a group of farmers, some changed the name to McCool ---just to confuse us!
