Mary Walker NC/SC Mary Jane McCombs John McCombs Baxter Lula Robert

My information is vague but, I am looking for any info. on one Mary Walker. She supposedly: 1. was born in either Wilmington, NC or somewhere in SC on a plantation, 2.lived in Buncombe County, NC at some point, 3. had three children whose surname/father is unknown, 4. had two children with a McCombs. One of her daughters was Mary Jane McCombs and one of her sons was John McCombs. Her other three children were Robert, Lula, and Baxter. I do not know which set of children was born first and I do not know if she was married to either of the fathers of her children. Her daughter Mary Jane McCombs was born on 14 Feb 1879/80, supposedly in Wilmington, NC. Mary Jane was said to have spent some time in an Asheville, NC orpanage. Mary Jane married William Albert Simmons Grover in Buncombe County, NC, on 22 May 1894. Mary Jane died on 19 Nov 1964 in Asheville, NC. I have Mary Jane's marriage and death certificates and her obituary, both certificates indicate that her mother was Mary Walker and her father was "Unknown McCombs". Her obituary does not name her parents but it does say that she was a native of Wilmington, NC. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
