I am trying to figure out who this James Blackford is that was listed as living with Thomas McConkey (McKonkey)on the 1850 census of Clinton Township Wayne Co.,OH.He possibly was with them as early as 1840 as well.I pasted the info below from my files.

He was living with his wife Elizabeth and 3 of their daughters.
He was 66 years old and a farmer with a value of real estate of $28,000
He was born in Pennsylvannia.
Also living with them in 1850 was Thomas Shreive (aged 16 farmer, born in Ohio, who attended school within the last year){son of daughter Elizabeth and Samuel Shreve but listed with no title} , Elizabeth Bryse (aged 18, born in Ohio, who attended school within the last year, granddaughter but listed with no title), Hannah Bryse (aged 40, born in Pennsylvannia, and could not read or write) {Thomas' Daughter but listed without title}, Martha J, Bryse (aged 12, born in Ohio, who attended school within the last year, granddaughter but listed with no title), Sarah E. Bryse (aged 7, born in Indiana, who attended achool within the last year, granddaughter but listed with no title), Mahala Bryse (aged 5, born in Indiana, granddaughter but listed with no title), and James Blackford (aged 26, a farmer born in Pennsylvannia).
