hello;Mary,

You may want to extend your research to include "THE AUSTRALIAN BRANCH OF THE MAC CONVILLE,McCONVILLE SEPT/CLAN,because when I was doing genealogy research, I discovered information that when ENGLAND USED AUSTRALIA AS A PENAL COLONY which was their way of settling the country at that period of time,ENGLAND'S AUSTRALIAN CONVICT TRANSPORTATION REGISTERS -OTHER FLEETS & SHIPS FOR 1798-1868 show four persons with the surname of "McCONVILLE" were convicted and transported to AUSTRALIA. The names are as follows: EDWARD McCONVILLE=DEC. 1820;JOHN McCONVILLE(alias,JOHN WILLIAMS)=03 DEC.1834;WILLIAM McCONVILLE=01 JUNE 1849;MARGARET McCONVILLE=04 OCT.1851.
The above information may help you with your research.

BEST REGARDS;
MICHAEL A. McCONVILLE
