descendants of Michael and Mary Ann Mcconville who were married in Portadown, Co. Armagh circa 1858. They both came from villages in the townland known as Cloncore in Tartaraghan Parish. Michael died young and over time, Mary Ann and eight of her children came to the US. Two sons, Michael and James(the oldest)stayed to run the farm. Michael died at a young age without marrying. Descendants of James still live on the farm and in Newry, Co. Down. I have visited with them several times.

Marriage names of their daughters who came to the US would be Hendron (Springfield, MA and Philadelphia, PA); Devlin (also Philadelphia) and Koening or King, (also Springfiled, MA). If you have info that will help, please e-mail me.

My grandfather Bernard(born in 1873) came here in 1898. He settled in Worcester, MA. Most of his descendants are still in this area. His brother Joseph lived in NH late in life, but his descendats live near Worcester as well.
