Hi Mary! It is great to find someone else out there with some information regarding this family. We Descend thru Alexander and Comfort Davidson's line. They had a son Alexander Jr. who is our third great grandfather.

We also are guessing a lot with this line. I am not so sure where our Grandmother got some of this information, however, we estimate a birth year of 1740 for John. She is thinking that John was born in Scotland/Ireland. Her records indicate a marriage of 1760 in Missouri. However James wasn't born until 1770 which is a little odd. We don't have any documentation to back up the marriage year.

Hannah is a mystery... I wish we had more to go on.
We have some information regarding the direct children. We have listed 7 children for James and Sallie. Does that sound about right?
Alexander and Comfort had 6 children.
We really don't have a whole lot of additional information. I would appreciate anything that you may have. I am a little new to this and am unfamiliar with what an FGS is. Perhaps you can help me out.

Thanks again for the reply. It is always a good thing to have someone else back-up the information you already have.
