George Sidney McCown born in Butler Co., KY, Aug. 13th 1851, died near Pine Hollow in Texas Co., MO, March 12th 1892, aged 42 ys. 6 ms. and 29ds. Singing and prayer by J.J. Watts at the Watts Lawn Cemetery. Remarks by Rev. A Hendrix, Mar. 14th 1892 at 3 p .m. Widow and 6 children, 2 brothers and 2 sisters survives him. Buried by the Hopewell Union.
#42 Nancy McCown
Mrs. Nancy McCown, wife of Eli McCown, born in Butler Co., KY, March 14th 1822, died on Big Piney, Pulaski Co., July 31st 1885, aged 63 ys. 4 ms. and 17 ds. A funeral sermon was preached at the house of Mrs. Bird Kinnaird from Job 14 X 14 by J.J. Watts after which she was buried at the Watts Lawn Cemetery, Aug 1st 1885. Husband and 5 children survive .
#93 Eli McCown
Mr. Eli McCown was born in Washington Co., Virginia, April 15th 1819, died in Piney Township, Pulaski Co., MO March 4th 1891, aged 71 ys. 10 ms. and 19 days. A funeral sermon was preached at the Bird Kinnairds residence from Heb. 11 X 24 to 27 verse by J.J . Watts, after which he was taken to the Watts Lawn Cemetery and buried by the side of his wife, March 6th 1891. Leaving 5 children.

Robert Sidney, son of Perry Eli and Matilda Ellen McCown, born in Piney T., June 18th 1898, died in Piney T., Pulaski Co., MO, Sept. 13th 1900 at 2 a.m., aged 2 ys, 2 ms, and 25 ds. A funeral discourse was preached at the McCourtney Cemetery, from Rev. 7X9 to 17 and hymn page 6 "Almighty Maker of my frame", Sept 13th 1900 at 5 p.m., we laid him to rest.

Wilford Elza, son of Perry E. & Matilda Ellen McCown, born near Duke in Pulaski Co., MO, March 19th 1900, died at his grandfathers Mr. Robert Warren's near Duke, July 3d 1901 at 6-15 p.m., aged 1 yr, 3 ms & 14 ds. Of a family of 4 children, 2 still living, Malissa Jane and Nora Lavana McCown. Grandfather & grandmother Warren & Vitula McCown still living and 7 uncles & 7 aunts still living. Service at the house & at the grave July 4th at 3 p.m. on Thurs. and buried at the McCourtney grave yard. by J.J. Watts

Vitula McCown died near Edenville May 9th 1905, at 4-30 p.m., aged 47 ys, 10 ms, & 5 days, daughter of Perry & Ellender A. Snell, was born in Warren Co., KY, July 4th 1856, was of a family of 9 children, 3 surviving, namely: Wm. P. Snell, Nancy Ann Beck, & Sarah Cohorn all of KY. Mar. 3d 1874 was married to Geo. Sidney McCown and unto them were born 8 children, 7 still living and 7 grand child., 5 still living. Funeral sermon at the Watts Lawn Cemetery on Thurs. May 11th 1905 at 12-30 past noon from Isaiah 48X10. All the children present.
