I'm new to this list and attempting to research on behalf of my half uncle. He knows very little about his family other than that his father was William McCready and he was born in Bangor. He would probably have been born c 1918 and we know he was an Orangman. Other than that, we know nothing. However, my Uncles middle name is Davidson and he has no idea why but I find from the IGI that there are some 'Davidson McCready's' in County down so that has gotten my interest. I would obviously like to hear from anyone who may be able to help or advise.
