Wonder if your McCready family is related to Edward W. McCready of the Edward W.McCready Memorial Hospital in Crisfield, Maryland. From postcard on ebay - "Founded and Presented by Mrs. Caroline P. McCready on November 21, 1919. Dedicated May 6, 1923."

Also, from Crisfield history book:
On September 13, 1919, Crisfield native and wealthy cork industrialist Edward W. McCready; his eight-year old daughter Suzanne; and Suzanne's nurse, Margaret Steinbeck, were killed in an automobile collision in Westover en route to their home in Chicago. While doctors at the General and Marine Hospital were unable to save them, McCready's wife, Caroline, vowed to repay their kindness. She did so by building a new $200,000 hospital in her husband's memory, dedicated in May 1923 on Hall Highway.

My husband's Nelson line connects with the McCready family with the Nelsons. Azariah Nelson's wife was Mary Catherine McCready. Born May 20, 1830 in Crisfield, MD. Married June 10, 1849. Died Dec 22, 1917 in Crisfield, MD.

I'd be very interested to see if these families are, in fact connected.
