My William B. McCrady (McCready) (born about 1815) was the father of George Brown McCrady (Born 1862) who was the father of George William McCrady (Born 1883) who was the Father of Plummer G. McCrady (Born in 1910).

There aren't alot of McCrady/McCready families out there and I wonder if my William could be your William's Uncle?

There was an old family legand that LaVahn (Plummer's youngest Brother) used to tell us about the "5 McCrady Brothers" who came from Ireland. I always thought it was just kind of a legend but who knows. There is usually something in those old family stories.

My William B. has identified on Census information that he was born in Vermont around 1815 and I have found 5 McCradys in Clinton County, New York on the 1810 Census. Clinton County borders Vermont and Canada. That might be part of my problem.

I have also seen McCrady spelled with and without the "e".

Thank you for responding. I have been hoping someone would see this post and respond. By chance do you know what the B. in your William B. Stands for?
