I have been looking for a William McCready who was born in either Vermont or New York between 1815 and 1820. On the 1880 Census he said that his father was born in Scotland and his mother was born in New York.

I am wondering if he could be a son of William, John or Caleb.

I have hit a brick wall with my William and I am just grasping at straws.
