dear andrea,
my granmother died three weaks ago, and in going through her belonging i came across lots of old newspaper clippings, and one that i though would interest you, it reads as follows:

Former Kells Man.
The son of a former elder in Kells Presbyterian Church in the person of Mr. James Mccready passed away on Sunday last at his residence, 16 Circular Road, Larne. His wife, formerly Miss MCveigh of Kellswater, and seven sons and daughters, all married, are left to mourn his loss. Deceased was well known in the Harbour area of Larne where he worked for a life-time, and was held in high esteem by a wide circle of friends. The funeral took place on Tuesday, afternoon to the New Cemetery, Larne, Rev W.J. McGeagh, M.A., officiating at the house and grave side.

unfortunattly there is not date, but i hope it will help!!
