Hi Clif, Betsy Elizabeth Ruckman has an obituary in the Pierce County Call, Pierce, Nebraska 3/24/1910. George B. McCrady's obituary is in the same newspaper 3/9/1911. That is a good source for information about family members after Betsy had left Illinois. My husband and I drove to Pierce in January 2007 and studied news clippings at the library and visited many of the McCrady graves at the Prospect View Cemetery. My mother and her brother were born in Upton, Wyoming to Leo V. McCrady, Sr. and Agnes A. Barksdale. Did your grandfather live there also? (1920, 1921) My grandfather Leo passed away in 1949. I have a Hilgert contact. I don't know the name Straw/Stroh. - Laura
