Hi Carolyn
I can't solve your problems but the name Finley appearing with McCready interests me. My g g g grandfather was Finley McCready prob born abt 1760 from Kilbarron Co Donegal in Ireland. The name is supposed to be a traditional one also appearing later. There is one with spelling variations in 1600 muster rolls. They are a difficult lot to try to trace although they are an ancient Donegal family. Pauline
