I am looking for someone to help me find 2 boys who were born in either virginia or W.V. I have a photo of my grandmother with 2 little boys and she says that they are of her brother's 2 sons. The family is trying to find out if these boys are actually my uncle's if they belong to someone else. grandmother says that she knew thier names at one time. Grandmother is now 88 and is starting to forget things. My Uncle's name was Lona Ray McCroskey , he usually went by Mac. But after he left W.V. he changed his name. We dont know if it was because of the boys or what. After he came to Indiana, he married and Went by McCloskey. He had one child. That son has no knowledge of having any brothers. the 2 boys would have been left in virginia and i would like to find them if possible. This was back in the 1920's. Lona's father was James Woody McCrosky and his mother was Ida Mae Sims. Lona had 3 brothers, Burley Virgil (Budge), Homer, and James Alvy, he had 3 sisters, Clara, Goldie and Mary. Mary is the only one living. She is my grandmother. I would like very much to find out if these 2 boys in the picture are Lona's sons, or if they belonged to someone else. If this sounds familiar to anyone , please dont hesitate to contact me. If either or both of these men (now) are living, i would dearly love to be able to meet them and let them know that they have a brother, and that they have family that would love to meet them, and know who they are. I dont have any dates for these men. sorry. i wish i knew their names at least. Carla
