Please post from the U.S., Ireland and Scotland

This is about, John (b. 1837) & Sarah McCullough of PA, they came to the U.S. in 1780 from Ireland, I am trying to find information on:

how long they were in Ireland, information on their time in Ireland and then how they came to be in Ireland, any spelling of the name, other info. I can use to go back farther... I am seeing that originally the family came from Scotland...have everything back to aprox. 1780.. but after that it stops. email me if you like ( or post here. thank you in advance
