McDevitt/McDivitt of Washington State

Some information suggests that two great uncles McDevitt/McDivitt ultimately settled in the Spokane, Washington area 1880's-1890's. John McDevitt, born in Canada and wife Mary (Toomey) McDevitt. They had (at least) these children;
John--Archibald--Jennie and Emily.
The other great uncle who may have been in Washington state at the time was Thomas McDevitt/McDivitt born Canada and nothing else is known.
If any of this rings any bells,I have quite a lot of info to share.
