Hi, I would be descended from the McDevitt (or McDeavitt) line from West Liberty, PA (Butler county). There was a Daniel McDevitt who left Ireland in the mid-to late 1700s and eventually settled in West Liberty. I'm not sure where he was from in Ireland, but several McDevitt families lived in County Donegal - northwest coast of Ireland - in the 1700s (and continue to live there today). Karen
