Hi John, I'm very interested in your McDevitt Geneology. I too am a direct descendant of one of the 'brothers' you speak of. My gr-gr-gr-grandfather was Jack McDevitt (b. late 1700's-early 1800's). Married Bridget Dougherty - had supposedly 10 children- we have 9. Jack had at least 3 sisters: Alice (Daid) married a Micky McGinley - 'Kitt' married a McDevitt and 'Mauve' or 'Madge' married a McDevitt too. Jack & his sisters were descendants of one 'Feardorcha' or one of his brothers that came later? Co. Donegal. Where are you located? Can we compare 'notes' Thank you.
