I am also a descendant of Jacob McDill, through his daughter, Sydney. Jacob settled in Salisbury Twp., Lancaster County, PA. I have not been able to find where he was from.
Sidney married Stewart Herbert. She died 1778. I have very little information but would be glad to share what I do have.
